Plug into the future: An EV Taster Evening
Through our EV Project – ‘Skills Accelerator Development Fund, Electric Vehicle,’ we have invested £1.2 million in new Electric Vehicle training opportunities at our St Austell and Camborne campuses.
Join us at our brand-new Electric Vehicle Training Centre at our St Austell Campus on Wednesday 12th October from 6pm-8pm. Explore our new EV workshop learning zone and have a go in our exciting Electude Electric/hybrid learning lab.
Plus, hear from industry experts about how the Automotive sector is changing at an electrifying pace in readiness for the 2030 cut off for sales of petrol and diesel vehicles in the UK.
Speakers include:
- John Evans, TCCG’s Principal and Chief Executive, speaking about the scale of our commitment to, and investment in, EV training facilities and technology.
- Tim Bryant, BYD Europe, with his expert insight of electric vehicles from his time working with Tesla and now with BYD.
- Matthew Trevaskis, founder of EcoDrive and Drivenergy, discussing EV charge point opportunities.
Meet our amazing staff and find out how to access our EV automotive business grants – £300 per person, per day of training.
Furthermore, a selection of Electric plug-in and Hybrid vehicles will be on display along with advice and guidance from Cornish business owners about Electric Vehicle charging infrastructures, EV home charging installation and affordable EV ownership.
