Please note – Full payment for this course must be made at least two weeks before enrolment. A practical course which meets the Health and Safety Executive requirements for this type of machine. The course promotes awareness of hazards in lift truck operation (rough terrain), machine capabilities/limitations, and develops operator skills with telescopic materials handlers. This qualification will appeal to those who use a forklift as part of their work in agriculture, horticulture or distribution and warehousing. It has been developed to cover the “basic training” requirements of the Approved Code of Practice for Rider Operated Forklift Trucks. This does not replace any legal requirement for a driving licence. Safe Use Of Pesticides PA1 & PA2

Please note – Full payment for this course must be made at least two weeks before enrolment. This course is suitable for Farmers and Growers, or anyone that uses a Boom Sprayer as part of their work or employment. The course will enhance your understanding of the subject, and enable you to legally spray your own land or that of your employer. This course consists of one day of training, mainly classroom based and takes the form of a powerpoint presentation which covers PA1. There will also be a practical demonstration of PA2. You will then have an on farm assessment to enable you to gain the required City and Guilds/NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Pesticides.
