The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as an aromatherapist. This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years or over and will support you to gain employment as an aromatherapist.
This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as an aromatherapist including mandatory units covering the following: knowledge and understanding of complementary therapy concepts, business practice, anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide aromatherapy services.
This course is run one day a week for 36 weeks. The day will consist of both theory and practical studies. There is a substantial amount of assignment work required for this course and would advise 4-6 hours per week study at home.

What You Will Learn
You will learn the anatomy, physiology and pathologies in detail for each of the systems of the body.
As well as learning how to develop a bespoke treatment plan selecting from carrier oils and essential oils and using them within a massage, inhalations or compresses. By the end of the course you will feel confident to work with a wide range of clients situations.
Principals and practice of complementary therapies assignment, include three outcomes
Business practice of complementary therapies assignment, includes 3 outcomes
Anatomy and physiology includes twelve assignments and 2 hour exam
Aromatherapy includes completion of 60 treatments written up including reflection and three final observations.

Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology
Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage
Level 3 Award in Indian Head Massage.
