If choosing the full-time route you must complete the Level 2 and 3 qualifications, which will take two years. We also offer a Level 1 introductory year if you do not have the required grades to start at Level 2.

Often called upon in an emergency, if you can fix a leaking pipe, mend a broken toilet, or repair a central heating system, you will be hailed a hero. An experienced plumber should have the ability to work in a variety of different environments and during your time with us we will teach you the practical, hands-on skills and industry legislation to enable you to do this, either as an employee or running your own business.

  What You Will Learn

This one-year course will explain the systems, components and terminology used in the plumbing industry, you will learn how the advanced systems work and how they interact with one another. By gaining an advanced knowledge to all the plumbing systems of a house, how they work and how they interact with one another, you will be prepared for the more specialised practical repair, installation and diagnostic elements of further qualifications at level 3

  Work Experience

As part of your course you will be required to carry out Work Experience and/or an Industry Placement

Once you’ve finished the Level 2 course, you’ll have a real in depth understanding of plumbing systems and be ready to move on to the more advanced level 3 course or an apprenticeship. We offer apprenticeships across the construction/plumbing industry, so if you want to earn while you learn, then you can consider that option.
