Companies of all sizes and sectors across the South West of England are invited to apply for any of the 10 categories below, you may enter up to four categories of your choice.

Entries for the 2019 Awards are open from 1st April and the closing date is midnight Tuesday 30th April 2019. The shortlist will be announced the first week of June 2019 and the winners at the ceremony on Thursday 18th July 2019.

Outstanding Commitment to Training Small (1 – 50 employees) (Including work experience & industry placements)

This award is for small companies from any sector that have shown outstanding dedication to training which has made a positive impact on their business success including; staff retention and morale, sales and growth.

Outstanding Commitment to Training Medium/Large (51+ employees) (Including work experience & industry placements)

This award is for medium/large size companies from any sector that have shown outstanding dedication to training which has made a positive impact on their business success including; staff retention and morale, sales and growth.

Outstanding Commitment to Apprenticeships Small (1-50 employees)
This award is for companies who have shown outstanding support and development of their own apprentices and how they have contributed to their business success.

Outstanding Commitment to Apprenticeships Medium (51-149 Employees)
This award is for companies who have shown outstanding support and development of their own apprentices and how they have contributed to their business success.

Outstanding Commitment to Apprenticeships Large (150+ Employees)
This award is for companies who have shown outstanding support and development of their own apprentices and how they have contributed to their business success.

Young Apprentice of the Year (16-18 years old)
This award is for current apprentices and those that have completed their programme in the last 12 months, who have shown outstanding commitment and dedication to their training.

Skills Apprentice of the Year (19+ years old) (Engineering, Motor Vehicle, Land-based Engineering & Construction)

This award is for current apprentices and those that have completed their programme in the last 12 months, who have shown outstanding commitment and dedication to their training.

Professional Apprentice of the Year (19+ years old) (Health & Wellbeing, Hospitality & Catering & Professional Services)

This award is for current apprentices and those that have completed their programme in the last 12 months, who have shown outstanding commitment and dedication to their training.

Rural Apprentice of the Year (19+ years old) (Agriculture, Horticulture, Arborist, Floristry, Equine, VET & Animal Care)

This award is for current apprentices and those that have completed their programme in the last 12 months, who have shown outstanding commitment and dedication to their training.

Individual Champion to Staff Development
This award is for an individual who champions training and development within their business showing commitment, drive and dedication to supporting their colleagues and their wider workforce.
